Septic Tank Emptying Service in Worcestershire

If your home or business has a septic tank that isn’t connected to any kind of mains drainage, then having a septic tank emptying service is crucial to avoid some unpleasant situations and to comply with the regulations.  Shaw’s Loos can now offer this service to our customers across Worcestershire.

Septic tank emptying

We have a number of different options for your septic tank emptying, depending on your needs and the size of the tank.  The most common option is a scheduled service where we visit the property on a set schedule to de-sludge and empty the tank.  This helps you with keeping costs down and also ensures that you know exactly when the process will take place.

We also offer unscheduled services and usually process within 5 working days of the request – although it can take longer depending on our workload.  This is where you need an extra emptying of the tank or don’t have a scheduled service in place.  It is more expensive than the regular service.

We can also offer an urgent response service if there is a breakdown or fault with the septic tank that could lead to a leak and other associated problems.  This is for emergency use only when there is a problem, rather than as part of an unscheduled service.

Accessing the tank

In order to complete the service, we do need to make sure that the tank is accessible for our tankers.  This means making sure the way is clear and that the tank doesn’t have any debris on it, so the covers are exposed and ready for lifting.  The tank should be safely operated by one person but if more than one person is required, you need to let us know when making the booking.

  • Schedule service available for cost-effective regular emptying
  • Unscheduled service available if you don’t need a regular service
  • Urgent response service for a breakdown or potential leak
